UNMIK deputy chief attends meeting on missing persons
 
18 November 2014 -- The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (DSRSG) in Kosovo, Ms. Jennifer Brush, today attended the 38th session of the Working Group on Missing Persons. The session was held in Belgrade and chaired by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Delegations from both Pristina and Belgrade participated, and the DSRSG Brush was present in her capacity as a member of the Pristina delegation. Families of Kosovo-Albanian and Kosovo-Serb missing persons attended as observers, along with representatives of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) and diplomatic missions. Representatives from the ICRC Headquarters in Geneva also joined. The session's Chairperson informed participants that, to date, 1655 persons are still missing. Meanwhile, the Belgrade and Pristina delegations reported on fulfillment of commitments, developments and documents exchanged during 2014.
