The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK Caroline Ziadeh met with several civil society representatives from Pristina, Belgrade and Mitrovica on 13 February to hear their views and perspectives on the current challenges in inter-community relations and advancing broader normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Pristina.

Underlining UN’s support for the normalisation process, SRSG Ziadeh stressed the important role of civil society actors in facilitating greater inclusion, participation and meaningful contribution of key segments of society in building relations of trust and sustainable peace.
